John --
Last week, Katmai National Park announced 435 Holly as the 2019 Fat Bear champion.
Alaska is on the frontline of climate change. This past summer, fish in many streams were "boiling to death" from the record heat. And now, tribes across Alaska are declaring a wild salmon emergency over polluted waters and declining salmon stocks. Fat bears like Holly depend on salmon -- and climate change could harm both.
314 Action, an organization of almost 1 million grassroots activists and STEM professionals that works to elect scientists to public office, has endorsed Dr. Al Gross' bid for the U.S. Senate.
They've endorsed his bid because they know he'll be a strong, independent voice for scientific solutions to Alaska's problems. But he can't do it alone.
John, we need your thoughts and ideas on how our country can take on the climate crisis. Will you take our quick survey and share your thoughts with us?

Dan Sullivan has lined his pockets with special-interest dollars at the expense of the Alaskan environment and the Alaskan people. Sullivan is so extreme, he believes "the verdict is still out on the human contribution to climate change."
He's neglected his responsibility to his constituents- he's put profits before people. He doesn't seem at all concerned that Alaska lost a gigantic portion of forest due to an extended wildfire season.
But Dr. Al Gross does. He isn't taking any PAC money. He doesn't owe special interests anything. That's how you know he'll be a champion for environmental responsibility in the U.S. Senate and in Alaska.
But we want to know what you think about climate change.
John, if you believe Alaska's elected officials must lead and take immediate action on climate change, then we need you to share your thoughts on how best to address the crisis. Please take this important survey today.
