This weekend, Dave attended the Maryland Democratic Party’s Welcome Back BBQ Bash. It was fantastic to have the chance to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones.

It was especially important for Maryland Democrats to meet up for a fun time in person after over a year of challenges dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. And what's a better way to do that than sharing some BBQ?

Even in a circle of Democrats, everyone isn’t going to see eye to eye on every issue, but we all agreed on one thing: it’s time for us to restore dignity to Maryland’s First District and replace Andy Harris.

Dave got into this race to fight for the 30-year construction worker who doesn’t have health insurance, the waterman who can’t bring home a catch because of pollution in the bay, and the teacher who can’t save for her kid’s college education because she’s underpaid.

We know what we’ve got to do, and it starts with replacing Andy Harris with someone who understands our people and their struggles. That’s Dave.
