President Biden nominated David Chipman, former ATF Agent, and 25-year ATF veteran, to be the ATF Director earlier this year. The ATF has been without leadership for years and David Chipman is vastly qualified to lead this important agency. Sadly, the NRA and other groups have committed to spreading disinformation and rhetoric that has impacted Chipman’s nomination. This has made some Senators wary of confirming him. We need to urge the Senate to confirm David Chipman.
