Thank you for calling the Assembly about SB 9 and SB 10
On Thursday, we alerted you that two bills that could affect your home could soon come up for a vote in the Assembly. These bills, SB 9 and SB 10, were NOT brought to the floor for a vote, and on Thursday afternoon, both the Assembly and the Senate adjourned for their Summer Recess. They will not be in session again until August 16.
It’s always good news for taxpayers when the Legislature is out of session!
Thank you for your calls, and for letting your representatives know that you’re watching their votes and that the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association is keeping you informed.
We’ll keep working all through the Summer Recess to inform lawmakers, even when they’re home in their districts, that protecting taxpayers and Proposition 13 is a year-round effort.
