John,
Parents across America watched closely as racially-charged hate crimes surged during the pandemic. Millions asked themselves how they could manage to keep their children out of harm's way, knowing full well that their own safety was not guaranteed.
Now Republicans are punishing two progressives, New Hampshire's Sen. Maggie Hassan and Nevada's Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, for championing the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act and trying to put an end to the violence.
Republicans sat on their hands while hate crimes claimed Asian American lives across the country, and they don't like being called out on it by two bold women. They're pulling out all the stops ahead of the 2022 midterm elections to chase Hassan and Cortez Masto out of their Washington old boys' club for good.
But progressives haven't wasted a second, and A Woman's Place is working hard every day to make sure that the progressive women leading Congress have the tools they need to win.
