In 2022, one of the most important Congressional races in the country will be right here in Michigan. In fact, it could very well determine the balance of power in the House of Representatives.

My friend, Democratic Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin, represents Michigan’s 8th District. She fights hard in Washington to be a champion for Michiganders in the 8th District and across our state and she’s exactly who we want in public office.

I wouldn’t be asking if it weren’t important, friend. Her district voted for Romney in 2012, Trump in 2016, and Trump again in 2020 -- making her the only House Democrat to represent a district that has voted Republican in all three of the past presidential elections.

It doesn’t get any closer than that.
