I'll cut to the chase: John is one of my best friends. He's been one of my very best collaborators. And team, if elected, he'll be one of the most outstanding presidents we could hope for.

Friend: My name is Rox. I was raised in rural Montana, I’m a social worker and minister by training, and I served as John’s Cabinet Secretary and Chief of Staff while he was Mayor of Denver and Governor of Colorado.

And I’ve asked (ok, badgered) the team to let me send this quick note before John takes the debate stage in one hour.

I’ll cut to the chase: John is one of my best friends. He’s been one of my very best collaborators. And team, if he's elected, he’ll be an outstanding president.

With a fantastic team and John’s wise leadership, we guided Colorado through countless challenges together. Throughout his two terms, I watched him achieve more real, progressive results, on issues ranging from affordable housing and homelessness to healthcare to reproductive rights to gun violence prevention, than any person who’ll be sharing the stage with him tonight.

That’s the effective leadership he plans to bring to the White House. I know what John is capable of—and I’m looking forward to millions more people learning about him tonight.

If you’d like to support the team as they work to take advantage of this critical moment, will you chip in while John is on stage tonight?

Now, let's get settled in for the discussion. John’s really fun to debate with—just another reason I’m looking forward to watching this!

Thanks,
Rox
