We wanted to let you know about a speaking event that we'll be hosting next month with local "green guru" and renowned scientist,
.
Join 350 Chicago and the DePaul University Institute for Nature and Culture for an evening of discussion on Deep Decarbonization with Professor George Crabtree. This is a free event that is open to students and the public, however RSVPs to one of the links below are greatly appreciated so that we can have an idea of a head count.
Professor Crabtree is the Director of the Joint Center for Energy Storage Research (JCESR) at Argonne National Laboratory and a distinguished Professor of Physics at UIC. He has testified before Congress on how to meet sustainable energy challenges, presented his vision of the world in 50 years at Chicago Ideas Week, and has led US Department of Energy workshops on next-generation energy storage, hydrogen, solar energy, and more.
In this talk, Professor Crabtree will be covering topics such as renewables, electric vehicles, grid transformation, distributed energy resources, sustainable mobility, and many more issues of great consequence to the environmentalism movement in 2019.
Hope to see you there!
