I wanted to make sure you saw my earlier message, folks.
Last week, I officially introduced the Zero-Emission Homes Act in the Senate.
Electrifying America's homes is a surefire way to cut down on fossil fuels and take bold action on climate.
We can’t put the financial burden of transitioning to electric appliances on hardworking people. We’ve got to make sure everyone in our country has access to the economic, environmental, and health benefits of electrification.
This bill will make sure folks get rebates for the purchase and installation of zero-emission electric appliances and equipment. I am working hard to get it passed — but I’m hoping to have your support, too.
Can you sign the petition to become a citizen co-sponsor of my Zero-Emission Homes Act of 2021? It would mean a lot to me.

Thanks for your support on this.

---Begin forwarded email---Here’s the long and short of it, folks:
We’ve got to act boldly on climate right now. It’s the only way to preserve our planet for future generations.
One of the most immediate, actionable ways we can address climate change is by electrifying our households. All of the technology we need to do it already exists.
From heating and cooling to cooking and transportation, our households make up about 42% of our country’s energy-related emissions. But we need to make zero-emission homes—and all the cost savings and health benefits that come with it—accessible to everyone.
That’s why I will be introducing the Zero-Emission Homes Act of 2021 to act on climate and put money back in people’s pockets at the same time.
If we pass this legislation, we can give folks rebates for the purchase and installation of zero-emission electric appliances and equipment. We can create millions of good-paying jobs. And we can take a huge step in eliminating carbon pollution from America’s 121 million homes.
So, will you sign my petition to become a citizen co-sponsor of the Zero-Emission Homes Act of 2021? It would mean a lot for you to call for bold climate action and job creation along with me.
