Georgia Recorder: "Supreme Court ruling on Arizona law could hinder Georgia court challenges."

We aren’t shocked that the conservative-packed Supreme Court is upholding anti-voting laws.

But, their most recent ruling on Arizona’s voting law makes challenges to Georgia’s anti-voting law harder. And it also makes one thing clear: we can’t rely on the courts to save our democracy. The best way to defeat voter suppression is at the ballot box.

Donald Trump and Senate Republicans spent four years packing the courts with far-right conservatives who are ready and willing to uphold the GOP’s attempts to undermine our democracy. If we have any chance of correcting course and defeating voter suppression, it has to happen by electing leaders who will overturn these laws.

We can do that right here in Georgia by re-electing Sen. Reverend Raphael Warnock and defeating Brian Kemp in 2022.
