Dear MoveOn member,
The annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), took place in Texas last weekend, where Donald Trump and a parade of his biggest supporters spewed racist bile and wild conspiracy theories, and continued to promote the Big Lie that Trump really won the 2020 election.
But perhaps most concerning of all, speaker after speaker at the event promoted baseless anti-vaccine lies, culminating in raucous cheers from the crowd when an anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist celebrated low vaccination rates across the country.1
This conservative rhetoric against vaccines is not just wrong, it's deadly, and we need to do everything we can to fight back against conspiracy theories and encourage our families, friends, and communities to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
To help share the message, we've printed a big batch of these "Pro-Science, Pro-Health, Pro-Vaccine" stickers and are giving them away for free while supplies last.

This rise in anti-vaccine rhetoric is coming at the same time that the Delta coronavirus variant is spreading like wildfire through unvaccinated populations, with some cities and states in the U.S. seeing the biggest spikes in hospitalizations of the entire pandemic, and the nation's most populous county reinstating a mask mandate.2
And yet, Republican officials don't seem to care about the damaging and deadly outcomes from the lies they are spreading.
The last year and a half has been terrifying and devastating for all of us, but we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel, and we won't let lies, conspiracies, and politically motivated malice endanger our communities. The development and production of vaccines has been remarkable, and as more of us become fully vaccinated—and as we ensure equitable access to all communities, no matter their income level—we're well on our way to confronting and overcoming the virus. But we need to keep going, especially since vaccinations help keep us all safe from the new variants of the coronavirus.
Together, we can help promote the truth, protect our friends and family, and fight back against dangerous Republican lies.
Thanks for all you do.

Want to support our work? Right-wing groups are spending tens of millions of dollars on TV ads to smear the For the People Act, a critical progressive bill that would help enable every American to vote and get Big Money out of politics. Meanwhile, donations to progressive groups like MoveOn are plummeting now that a Democrat is in the White House, meaning we don’t have the resources to fight back. That’s a huge problem, and that’s why we urgently need your support.
Will you chip in to fight right-wing lies and pass urgent legislation to confront the multiple crises our country faces?
No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
