John,
This summer is shaping up to be a great one in the Valley. I donāt know about you, but Pam and I have turbocharged our events calendar - weāve missed big community events so much! So I thought Iād share a glimpse into our Valley life by taking you through my past few days.
First, I rocked out on the drums with MoBand, Modestoās 100 year old band. Iām not new to the scene though, I actually have played in the band since in high school! I like to think my skills have gotten a little bit better since then?
Next I got to kick off the big event of the County fair - the tractor pull - and letās just say Iām glad I packed my ear plugs. If you havenāt been to a tractor pull before, itās absolutely a must-do, and Modestoās is one of the best in the country. Come visit!
Will you please chip in to my campaign today so I can continue to represent our amazing community in Congress? [link removed]
I also put on firefighter gear for an abbreviated firefighter training course. If you think itās hot in California, just wait until you experience 106 degrees while fighting fires! In all seriousness after this training, I feel even more grateful for our heroes on the frontlines battling an already dangerous wildfire season.

Finally, what better way to spend a Sunday morning than with hundreds of little leaguers! Thereās nothing cuter than presenting a trophy to a 5 year old while her family cheers on. Congrats to all the kiddos on a great season!
Folks, all of these events were possible thanks to the community members who have gotten vaccinated, helped the Valley re-open, and supported each other through challenging times. The hard work and perseverance of my neighbors is what inspires me to do the work I do, and Iām honored to represent such a vibrant community.
If you can, please pitch in a donation to my re-election campaign to keep me fighting in Congress for California's 10th district.

Hereās to a great rest of the summer!
