This is how we beat GOP mega-donors at the ballot box...
Friend, did you hear the news?
Republicans are raising record amounts of money before Virginia's AG race this year, and more than 30 AG races next year:
It’s clear that GOP mega-donors are pouring in to boost their radical candidates, so this is not the time to let our guard down. We have to build on our momentum and prepare to fight back when Republicans inevitably try to undermine our candidates with dark money and dirty tricks.
Friend, we know that early investments are key to building campaigns that win – that’s how we won more than two-thirds of our targeted races since 2016.
With so many competitive seats on the map, we could have a surge of new Dem AGs in office. And if you need to feel inspired, look no further than the highly-flippable Georgia, where Dem AG candidates are posting standout fundraising numbers against a weak Republican incumbent.
When I see numbers like that, I feel revived – because I know that the momentum is there, the passion from the community is there, the call for a stronger democracy is there. We just have to raise enough money to overpower a cabal of GOP mega-donors at the ballot box.
