When we wrapped up our end-of-quarter fundraising last month, we told you that those numbers would be made public soon.
This past week we finally saw the Q2 results, and it’s not good: Last quarter, the National Republican Congressional Committee raised $45 million—nearly $9 million more than the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
This is not good news, John, but it’s important news. Our Truth to Power candidates don’t take a dime from corporate PACs or special interest groups. But that puts us at a disadvantage, especially in light of this news.

In 2020, House Democrats barely maintained their majority. Now with the GOP out-raising Democrats by millions of dollars, our House majority could be at even greater risk in 2022.
