This is one of my proudest accomplishments.

A few days ago, most American families with children began receiving no-strings-attached monthly cash payments. This expanded Child Tax Credit will cut child poverty in HALF -- and 92% of Ohio kids will benefit.

This is what happens when we put workers first. But despite the incredible benefits for American families, every single Republican in Congress voted AGAINST this bill.

We need to keep investing in our workers -- and that means we need to expand our Democratic Senate Majority. Will you chip in to help me flip Ohio’s open Senate seat and make sure we can continue delivering results?

I’m running for Senate because Ohioans are at their breaking point -- working harder than ever, putting in long hours at multiple jobs, and still struggling to get by.

There aren’t enough hours in the day, or days in the week, for family birthday parties or sporting events. Our broken economy demands people work so hard that they miss the things that make life worth living.

I’m fighting to give working families some breathing room. That’s why I helped cut taxes for workers by supporting the passage of the Child Tax Credit. Beginning this month, the families of nearly 2.4 million kids in Ohio will start receiving monthly cash payments of up to $300 -- totalling $3,600 by the end of tax season.

This will directly help working parents cover the rising costs of raising a family. That’s what I mean when I say it’s time to cut workers in on the deal.

I can’t fathom why a single Republican serving their constituents in good faith would vote AGAINST this. (Let alone every single one.)

We need to make sure Ohio’s next Senator supports working families 100%, and the far-right Republicans running against me sure as hell won’t do that. Can I count on you to chip in to my grassroots campaign today and help us flip this seat?
