One year ago this week, former Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder was arrested and charged in the "largest bribery, money-laundering scheme" in Ohio's history.
This is a shameful mark on our state's recent history. The scandal only continues to grow as more and more Republican connections to the alleged $60 million bribery scheme are uncovered, while Ohioans are left to foot the bill.
This kind of corruption has no place in the Buckeye state and we want to ensure it never happens again. That's why building the infrastructure we need to elect Democrats up and down the ticket is absolutely crucial.
When Larry Householder was arrested last year, Ohioans saw firsthand how almost uninterrupted Republican rule has hurt our state and Ohio families. That’s why Democrats took action, introducing a resolution to expel Householder from the Ohio House.
