John,
One year ago, Georgia and the nation lost a hero with the passing of Congressman John Lewis.
For decades, Congressman Lewis fought at the forefront of the civil and voting rights movement, never wavering in his commitment to justice, freedom, and equality for all.
Now, a new generation of leaders must pick up the mantle and continue fighting for voting rights. That is how we undertake the enormous responsibility of carrying on Congressman Lewis’ legacy — by getting into some good trouble.
And it starts with making sure everyone has free and fair access to the ballot.
Only then can we continue towards a more just future for all.
In Solidarity,
Georgia Democrats
