I knew that he would get attacked from all sides if he held his ground and refused to pass the multi-trillion dollar budget without a pathway to citizenship. And I was right -- detractors from both sides of the aisle are coming after him.
But Chuy doesn't listen to detractors, he listens to the people -- and he's not afraid to take on the big fights.
Far-right white nationalists, complacent centrists, and all those who stand in the way of progress are coming after Chuy. But in this critical time, our fundraising has slowed down.
