[1]Women's March
John,
Here at Women's March, we know that change starts in your community.
That's why we started our Women2Women Circles program — a way for women
and feminists to connect and organize in their own communities, share
their stories, and build feminist organizing power all across the country.
We’ve seen time after time the influence and power Women’s Marchers have
in their communities to deliver the change we need. Right now, we’re
focusing on the research and development of feminist budget campaigns.
So before we start ramping up our work to create a Women’s March Feminist
Budget — we want to invite you, John,
to attend our next Circles Info Session and
join our women-led organizing movement.
In just a moment, I’m going to share with you more details about our
exciting vision for a Women’s March Budget. [ [link removed] ]We hope after reading this
email, you’ll sign up to join our Circles Info Session on July 21st from
8:00-9:00 pm EST.

Ever since we started the Women2Women Circles program in Fall of 2020,
Women’s Marchers have been coming together with their friends and family
to do work including persuading voters, distributing PPE to health care
workers, organizing protests, writing letters to Congress, and meeting
with local leaders to reallocate money from police budgets.
We’re proud of the work Women’s Marchers have been leading in the circles
— but we know that there’s still so much progress we need to make to bring
our vision of a feminist future to life.
We are guided by the words of Martin Luther King and countless others who
have reminded us throughout decades that ‘Budgets are moral documents’.
Too often, the resources and support we urgently need to bring racial,
economic, and gender justice to our communities are blocked during
budgetary processes.
That’s why we’re excited to start working with Women2Women Circles to
organize and advocate for local budgets that reflect our feminist values.
When you start your own Circle, we provide you the training and tools you
need to start doing this kind of work in your communities.
