I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your incredible support over the last week. We launched our campaign on Tuesday, and I’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support. Hundreds have donated, and the words of encouragement have only reaffirmed my decision to run for this seat.

This race could end up being one of the most competitive in the country -- especially now that the Republican frontrunner Ryan Zinke has been endorsed by Donald Trump.

Our goal is to tune out the noise and stay laser-focused on the issues that matter for Montanans. We’re campaigning on high-wage jobs, affordable housing, protecting our public lands, and ensuring health care access for all -- including for rural and native communities.

These are challenging times, but I was raised with the belief that when the going gets tough is exactly when it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get to work. When there's a storm or a fire, we go towards our friends and neighbors to make sure they're okay before anything else.

That's the attitude I will take to Congress for the people of Montana, and I’d be honored to have you by my side.
