Dear John,

The stakes have never been higher.

We are looking over the cliff edge of a no deal, and we need to come together like never before to demand a People’s Vote.

Will you join me on the streets this Saturday?

Greens have been standing up for our place in Europe at over a dozen People’s Vote rallies up and down the country this summer, and now we’re gearing up for the biggest march ever.

Make no mistake about the seriousness of this moment.

Our Prime Minister is threatening to tear up the rule of law, as well as our democracy, by ignoring the legal requirement to seek an extension to the date of Brexit. That’s why we must make it clear that there is no mandate in this country for a reckless crash out from the European Union.

Despite the threat to our country from reckless Brexiteers, I remain hopeful. I’m hopeful because everywhere I go, I see more and more of us rejecting Boris Johnson’s vision for the future of this country, and coming together to demand a final say on the future of Britain.

I’m so proud to be part of this movement, and I’m so proud to have had you beside me the whole way.
