Folks,
Our mid-month deadline is almost here, and I’m going to ask if you’d like to chip in to help us reach our goal. Before I get to that, I want to tell you about one of my favorite memories -- and the moment that inspired me to run for governor.
When I was 8 years old, my Dad brought me along with him on a trip to the mall. While we were there, I had the opportunity to meet someone, shake his hand, and strike up a conversation. As we talked, I felt moved -- this person made me feel seen, and I noticed they had so much compassion and genuine care for others.
After the conversation ended, I asked my Dad who I had been speaking to, and he told me that it was the Governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton. Being so young, I wasn’t sure what being a governor meant until we went home and he made me look it up in our Encyclopedia Britannica. That’s when I realized that governors get to make a difference in people’s lives.
I knew immediately that was what I wanted to do. I wanted to serve the people of Arkansas, listen to them with compassion and understanding, and do everything in my power to make their lives better.
That's why I joined this race. I have the same faith in Arkansas that I did as a kid -- and I’m ready to serve our great state.
Our campaign is bringing people together who are ready to do the work and move Arkansas forward. If you’re with me, will you chip in $25, or anything you can, so we can keep our momentum going? →
Thanks for reading,
Chris Jones
