In the middle of the worst power crisis Texas had ever seen, Senator Ted Cruz flew to Cancun, Mexico to escape the cold. He abandoned his state and his constituents in their time of need.

But this week he went on Fox News to say that the Texas Democrats who are in DC fighting for voting rights had “abandoned” Texas. What. A. Joke.

Texas is being failed by our Republican leadership. Can you pitch in now to support People First Future and our efforts to defeat Republicans trying to suppress the vote?

Friend, while Texas Democrats fight tooth and nail to protect our voting rights, Republicans like Cruz are failing our state.

It’s time we had leadership in Texas that actually cares about governing and serving the people. We need leaders in the governor’s mansion, in Congress, and in the state legislature that serve the PEOPLE, instead of their wealthy friends and corporate donors.
