Can you believe it? This week, MIRS reported that former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos “is positioning herself for a gubernatorial run in 2022.”

Just when we thought we were done with the anti-public education agenda of the DeVos billionaires, it looks like Trump’s former official is trying to make a comeback -- in our home state.

A Governor DeVos would be a disaster for public education in Michigan.

This news reminds us of what’s at stake in 2022.

Darrin and his colleagues have spent years working on dozens of bill packages to support teachers and educators, yet time and again they’ve been blocked by Republican obstructionism. If DeVos were in charge, the attacks on our teachers would only get worse.

We have a chance to flip the legislature in 2022 and elect pro-public education representatives to Lansing -- and return our Governor, AG, and SOS back to office.
But we need your help.
