For fifteen years The Christian Institute, through its Legal Defence Fund, has fought for gospel freedom.

During that time we have been able to help nearly 2,500 people. Sometimes we hit the headlines. Most of the time we work behind the scenes.
We have run cases of national importance for Christian religious liberty. We have set vital legal precedents. And so we protect many Christians for years to come. Our work is helping to safeguard gospel freedom for the next generation.
We spend on average well over £300,000 per year on our Legal Defence work. Sometimes much more. It’s expensive, but gospel freedom is at stake.
We have not had to make a specific appeal for this work for six years. But we need to do so now.
