This CNN headline is bad news for 2022:

“Senate Republican campaign arm raises $28 million in second quarter”

In June 2019, the GOP raised a record $5.7 million with Donald Trump in the White House and a presidential election on the horizon. Fast forward two years — Republicans nearly doubled that record with a $10.5 million haul last month.

If one thing is clear, it’s that Mitch McConnell and the GOP’s biggest donors are making Senate control their #1 priority in 2022. If they succeed, all of the progress that we’ve made together will be in jeopardy.

We need to not only defend, but expand our majority in the midterms in order for Cory and his Senate colleagues to continue passing critical legislation for President Biden to sign. We cannot afford to fall behind in our fundraising efforts just as McConnell and GOP donors are pouring millions of dollars into battleground states as we speak.
