After Joe Biden pulled a bait-and-switch on Wisconsin farmers last month by switching the focus of his visit to the third congressional district from agriculture to electric buses, the White House has given Congressman Ron Kind a consolation prize by sending the U.S. Trade Representative to La Crosse to discuss trade policies.

Despite the Democrats’ best efforts to help Kind’s re-election bid by trying to pretend that Biden’s slight to Wisconsin farmers didn’t happen and cover up Kind’s embarassing record on trade, they can’t rewrite history. The fact remains that Ron Kind has spent his 24 years in Congress choosing China over Wisconsin workers and delaying critical trade deals like the USMCA.
