Across the country, this tax credit will benefit 66 million children, including over 800,000 Kansas children, while cutting child poverty in half.

Despite its overwhelming benefits to our country's most vulnerable population, every single Kansas Republican in Congress unanimously opposed expanding the Child Tax Credit and its direct payments to Kansas families. These tax credits are further proof that Democrats are delivering for working families while Republicans will attempt to obstruct the President's momentum at all costs.
