In Louisiana, sea levels have risen 1,883 square miles over the course of the past century. If that were to happen here in Delaware, our state would be wiped off the map.

There’s no question, John—extreme weather events are becoming more frequent and intense. It’s frightening to say the least.

Our future isn’t written in stone though. We can still do something about climate change -- but we cannot wait any longer to take action.

Infrastructure and climate change go hand in hand. 

We saw it in Texas where extreme weather cut off energy sources earlier this year. In Portland, extreme heat melted transit cables.

We can make our infrastructure—our electrical grids, our transit, our water systems—more climate-resilient while also making it cleaner and greener.
