This year, we have the opportunity to elect environmental leaders to positions in local government that will determine how your neighborhood and the places you frequent will respond to climate change.

The recent heatwave cost lives and we have to count on local government leaders to implement solutions that help us address the impacts of climate changes – especially for the most vulnerable.

With your support WCV will endorse and support candidates who will take bold stances for the health of our environment and our communities.

As we elect leaders who prioritize the environment we also need to make sure that progress incorporates justice for frontline communities who live with the most burdens.

Our leaders must understand that the exploitative forces that have damaged the environment continue to harm people. We want leaders who can protect workers, reduce burdens on Black, Indigenous, immigrant and refugee communities, and restore our damaged ecosystems.
