It's a great day to be a House Democrat. Today, Pennsylvania families -- and families across the country -- will now be eligible for the Child Tax Credit through the American Rescue Plan.

This policy will deliver monthly payments to parents that will help cover the costs of child care, keeping food on the table, and even putting gas in the family car.

We still have so much work to do, but I want you to know this kind of economic relief is possible because people like you have always had my back. While I'm incredibly proud of the work my fellow Democratic colleagues have done, I'm deeply bothered by the fact that ZERO Republicans voted to support this effort that will effectively cut child poverty in half and benefit more than 78% of PA-05 kids. That's 119,200 children and their families -- just in our district!

Right now, I am reaching out to share this exciting news with you -- and to ask a favor. I want to make it clear that Democrats are the ones fighting for low-income and working families every day.

If we can raise $5,800 before tomorrow night, my team will launch a digital ad campaign to reach tens of thousands of voters in July, but I need your help to make this possible.
