I hope you're keeping well.

The event will take the form of a discussion with researchers and practitioners working on current issues that face children and young people in migration.
* Dr Rachel Hoare will discuss identity formation for young people who have experienced forced migration.
* It will address trauma-aware responses and fostering positive identity development when working with young migrants and refugees.
* Kelvin Akpaloo (for NYCI) will offer a personal perspective on identity formation before opening up to participants to input.

If you have any questions on the event, just drop me a line.

All the best

Anne

P.S. There is also an interesting IHREC/DCU study on issues facing second-generation minority ethnic young people ([link removed]) coming up that you may be interested in sharing.
