Team -- My team hates when I send long emails like this, but I think it's incredibly important to discuss what's happening in Congress. I hope you'll read the whole thing.

On Tuesday, President Biden went live on the air to address the most important issue of our generation:

MAGA Republicans’ willingness and desire to DESTROY our elections and democracy for cheap political points.

I’ve been in Congress for nearly 10 years -- I’m familiar with conservative extremism festering in the halls of Congress.

But in the past few months, Congressional Republicans have stooped from low to lower.

My Democratic colleagues and I have had to put everything to the side to pick up the pieces of our democracy and attempt to put them back together.

But while I’m working to pass voter reform, secure LGBTQ+ rights, and fight back against misinformation, MAGA Republicans are hot on our heels, trying to take our House majority away from us!

They’re doing EVERYTHING they can to attack progressive Democrats like me. And when people with no moral code come after you, it’s scary.

That’s why hitting our fundraising goals is so important, and why we have to email you so much. But my campaign is behind and we need to raise $4,281 today in order to get back on track.
