Recently, I appeared on Sunday Night in America on Fox News with my good friend and former congressman Trey Gowdy. 

I wanted to share this video of the segment today, in case you missed it.

Trey and I, both former federal prosecutors, discussed the fight in Congress to stand with law enforcement against the “Defund the Police” mob, spiking crime in NYC and what’s behind it, and Joe Biden’s dishonest rhetoric when it comes to gun laws and crime.

Last year, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio and the City Council cut police funding by $1 BILLION – one-sixth of its budget. And now, no surprise, crime is skyrocketing.

Shootings are up a staggering 97%, with 1,000 more shooting incidents expected by the end of the year. At a recent roundtable discussion I had with NYC law enforcement, I was told that not a single day goes by that a stray bullet doesn’t hit a child.

NYC is down 500 detectives, and due to soft-on-crime laws like “bail reform” criminals are right back out on the streets. 50% of those criminals charged with shooting someone are being released within a day!
