John,

While ranting about the 2020 election at one of his rallies, Donald Trump let out something we can't disagree with: “We might have been better if [Stacey Abrams] did win for governor of Georgia, to tell the truth.”

Trump was saying it to attack Brian Kemp for not overturning the election results -- but the fact still stands: Stacey Abrams is the leader our democracy needs right now.

While Republicans have unleashed a tsunami wave of voter suppression bills in states across the country, Abrams has been hard at work fighting for voting rights legislation in Congress and touring the country to register voters and motivate Americans to get involved.

She's exactly the leader we need to restore Georgia's election system and protect the Democratic majority in 2022. But Republicans have also been hard at work attacking Abrams, who they called the “wicked witch of the South,” and they're discrediting her work.

As the GOP enacts its smear campaign against Abrams, we want her to know she has Democrats on her side to become the first Black woman governor in history. That's why we need to hear from you, John:

Should Stacey Abrams run for governor of Georgia?

YES   NO

Thank you for providing your input as we work to strengthen our democracy and support the progressive women bringing change to Washington.

Our work would be impossible without you.
