Sojourn Rocs

This Saturday: Sojourn Rocs free show!

Join us for Sojourn Rocs, a FREE all ages show in the parking lot of the Oswego Entertainment Venue, 1010 Station Drive, this Saturday, July 17. Doors at 5:30 p.m., concert starts at 6:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a night outdoors! Hot dogs and chips will be available for purchase, and a beer garden will offer domestic drafts, and OBC's Hey'z for Horsez. (Must be 21+ with ID to consume alcohol.) Learn more. 

Trolls World Tour

July 22: Trolls World Tour

 When the Queen of Hard Rock Trolls tries to take over all the Troll kingdoms, Queen Poppy and her friends set out to visit all the other Troll lands to unify the Trolls in harmony in this fun, colorful adventure.

Join us for Movies in the Park: Trolls World Tour, rated ages 6+ by Common Sense Media. All movies begin at twilight, between approximately 8:45 and 9:05 p.m. Entry starts at 6 p.m. More details on our website.

Aug. 26-29: Vet Fest 141

Tickets on sale now!

Vet Fest 141 comes to the new Oswego Entertainment Venue Aug. 26-29, featuring Friday night headlining act, LOCASH! Proceeds from Vet Fest 141 benefit local veterans organizations. Check out Johnny Cash tribute The Man in Black with Hillbilly Rock Starz, popular Chicago-area rock band 7th Heaven, and more announcements expected soon. A carnival will also provide fun for all ages. Learn more and buy tickets!

Recycle your bottle caps and lids to make a new bench

The Village of Oswego has partnered with the Kendall County Fair Association to provide a drop-off point for bottle caps that will be recycled into new benches for the fairground.

Residents can drop off their old bottle caps and lids in the lobby of Oswego Village Hall during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A collection bin is located near the main entrance. Learn what kinds of caps and lids are accepted and find more information about sponsoring a bench on our website


Coffee with the Mayor

RESCHEDULED! Coffee with the Mayor is July 31

The originally scheduled Coffee with the Mayor has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 31, due to inclement weather. Join the Village of Oswego and Village President Troy Parlier at the Well 11 Water Tower for a special edition of Coffee with the Mayor with Village President Troy Parlier to learn about the operations and future of our community's water supply. 

This is a free event and open to all residents. Coffee with the Mayor will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 31 at the Well 11 Water Tower, 6701 Tuscany Trail, Oswego. An RSVP to Community Engagement Coordinator Julie Hoffman at [email protected] or 630-551-2344 is requested to help staff accommodate everyone.


Reminder: Brush collection begins July 19 in Zone B

Put your brush at the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday morning for collection. Find details on what's accepted, a map of zones, and the next collection dates on our Brush page.


LUNAFEST women's film festival comes to Oswego Aug. 8

LUNAFEST is a fundraising film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women's issues, highlighting women filmmakers, and bringing people together in their communities to engage in the arts. 

This unique film festival includes seven short films by lauded women filmmakers who have earned Emmy nominations, Peabody awards, and recognition at Manhattan Film Festival, SXSW, Sundance and more. And did we mention there's brunch? See the full line-up and buy tickets now!

Village staff are working to create a Unified Development Ordinance, or UDO, that brings together the Village's current patchwork of zoning and subdivision ordinances into a single unified set of codes. Learn more about the proposed UDO and take the survey.
