This is concerning, John.

We just got word that the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has outraised the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) to the tune of almost $9 million.

As a reminder, the NRCC and their associated PACs have attacked Mike in every election he's been in to date. Now it appears that they're stronger than ever. This is especially troubling because our fundraising numbers have ticked down since June.

We don't know when the attacks will come, but we know that it's only a matter of time. This team needs to be ready to beat them back and defend Mike, which is why we're asking:

Will you chip in $3 toward our $35,000 emergency fundraising goal to counter this breaking news with grassroots strength? We need to show National Republicans we have what it takes to keep this district blue.

This is yet another sign that Republicans are gaining momentum in their bid to take back the House in 2022 -- and we know that road leads directly to Mike's district.

The good news is Democrats have used their majority to advance an agenda that's popular with the American people -- from addressing COVID-19 to moving forward on an ambitious jobs and infrastructure plan to put working families first.

We're making meaningful progress, but we can't underestimate how low the Republicans will stoop to undermine our agenda and contort Mike's work on the airwaves and in mailboxes.
