When Virginia Democrats selected our nominees for statewide office in June, we knew we were in for the fight of our lives, which is why we chose three candidates with proven track records of leadership, progressive governance, and electoral victories.

Glenn Youngkin and the Virginia GOP know that they can’t win by telling voters where they stand on the issues, so they’re making up for it by spending millions on misleading TV ads. Youngkin has hundreds of millions of dollars to spend on this race, and that’s not even counting PAC contributions, Republican mega-donors, and the flood of dark money that’s pouring into our state as we speak. Virginia Republicans are outspending us 40-to-1 on advertising alone, and it’s making a difference.

We’re going to be honest, friend, we’re up against a Goliath right now, and we need all the help we can get. We don’t have hundreds of millions of dollars at our disposal, so to win this election, we’re going to have to get creative. The only way we can beat Youngkin and the VA GOP is by forging a broad coalition of grassroots supporters from across the Commonwealth, from doctors to teachers to small business owners and everyone in between.
