Hey, it’s
Lauren, Pramila’s finance director. Over the years working in grassroots
fundraising, I’ve noticed a trend: Fundraising slows down during the
summer months — and July is particularly challenging.

2021 is turning out to be no different. But here’s the thing: Our
people-first movement for bold and transformative change doesn’t take the
summer off. This may be an “off-year,” but that doesn’t mean our
organizing slows down one bit.

As Congress continues to debate spending priorities, we must continue
demanding that any package meets the scale of the overlapping crises our
country faces. But we need your help to sustain this work.

[ [link removed] ]Can you help us reach our mid-month goal of 250 contributions by
chipping in $3 or more before midnight? We’re still 85
contributions short — but yours could put us over the top:

If we want Democrats to deliver on the promises they made to the American
people last year, we have to keep fighting regardless of whether our
fundraising dips. But we’d be forced to do so with fewer resources — and
we can’t let that happen. Pramila is counting on us.

Thank you for giving at this critical moment,

Lauren
