Over 90 percent of parents with children under 18 years old are receiving their first monthly payment. It’s single-handedly the most transformative economic policy to come out of Washington since FDR.

In the next few months, these $250 and $300 checks per child are going to lift nearly five million children out of poverty.

So when I tell you how important it is that we reach our fundraising goal before midnight, it’s so that we can keep our Senate majority and continue passing meaningful legislation like the American Rescue Plan that has the power to change millions of families’ lives.
