President Biden has again put forward a far-Left nominee for Senate confirmation, with the nomination of David Chipman to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

As head of ATF, Chipman would be empowered to enact an extreme anti-gun agenda.
Chipman has no place leading the Bureau of ATF. In 2019, he testified <[link removed]> in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee that he would ban all semi-automatic rifles over a .22 caliber, which includes almost every modern rifle sold in America. On top of that, Chipman has also spent the last 9 years working for the extreme anti-gun groups, Giffords <[link removed]> and Everytown for Gun Safety.

With Chipman’s nomination, the Left is once again attacking the safety and security of our neighborhoods. At a time when many Democratic leaders are threatening to defund the police and murder rates are increasing, we cannot let them take away our means to self-defense.

David Chipman’s nomination is a threat to the 2nd Amendment and the liberty of all Americans.
