Over the weekend, extreme right-wing Republicans gathered alongside Donald Trump in Dallas for their annual conference, CPAC.
In addition to the deceptive, racist, and incendiary lies the speakers spewed about their big lie that Trump "won" the 2020 election, they also did something else that should have every Women's Marcher on this team concerned:
They voted for Trump in their 2024 nominee straw poll — and he won by a long shot with 70% of the votes.
John, it has never been more clear that, in addition to their full-on embrace of Trump's brand of spiteful and dangerous politics, the GOP is still all-in for Donald Trump 2024. Even after he incited a deadly white-supremacist insurrection.
Women's March is preparing to go all-in to organize, mobilize, march, and vote to defeat ANY of Trump's allies in 2022 — and we especially need to prepare for any scenario in which Donald Trump decides to run for *any* level of public office ever again.
