Hello,

When I decided to run for office my goal wasn't to push partisan politics, score cheap political points, or be a fixture on cable news. Simply put, I wanted to get stuff done for hardworking families.

Growing up in the Olympic Peninsula, I had seen firsthand how economic struggles hurt working families and our communities. I wanted to make a positive difference in communities like mine, and I knew public service was a good way to do it.

In the time I've spent in elected office, I've worked hard to never lose sight of that motivation to create meaningful change. It's what has kept me going even in the middle of extreme gridlock.

Each time we've dealt with challenges (from an administration attacking our values for four years to a global pandemic), I've focused on going to work to find a solution. My team and I have tried to live up to the motto – Don't agonize – organize. In fact, that's what I'm doing right now as Chairman of the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress: reforming Congress so we can deliver more results to the American people.

But I've never done any of this work alone, friend. The truth is, I never would have been elected in the first place if it weren't for you and other grassroots supporters like you.

Let me be clear: all the progress we've helped deliver has been thanks to YOU.

Now, I'm turning to you once again to ask for your help. In order for me to stay focused on the work that lies ahead, I need to make sure that we're raising the resources we need to hold this seat next year.
