Here’s the thing, friends:
Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook conducted research on how social media affects kids’ mental health. But they won’t release that research -- even while they’re building a version of Instagram just for kids under 13.
So we’re demanding answers.
Mark Zuckerberg confirmed to Members of Congress in May that Facebook conducted internal research on the impacts of social media on children -- that he won’t release -- meanwhile he continues to dispute published studies demonstrating the links between social media and depression.
We’re out with a brand new video today calling on Facebook to #ReleaseTheResearch before they release an app that could impact kids’ lives forever. Check it out below, and share it with your own networks:

As a mom, I know the choices Facebook makes will impact my daughter’s future and the next generation. We deserve to see the research on how social media affects the mental health and well-being of impressionable young children.
