We are looking for awesome people to volunteer for the Poor People's Campaign's Season of Nonviolent Moral Direct Action, from July 12- August 2, 2021-- to end the filibuster, pass all provisions of the For the People Act, Fully restore the 1965 Voting Rights Act, and Raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hour.
We need volunteers on the following Moral Mondays in DC:

July 19th: Women's Moral Monday in Washington, DC.
- August 2nd: Nonviolent moral fusion direct action in D.C. focused on the US Senate, led by mass numbers of clergy and religious leaders with poor and low wage workers.
We have multiple roles we'll need filled on both dates. Please click here for a questionnaire, in which you can indicate the date(s) you can volunteer and which role you can fill on the date(s).
All volunteers signing up need to:
1) Attend the in-person, day-of, mandatory training on July 19th and/or August 2nd prior to the action (you sign up to volunteer for). July 19th Nonviolent Moral Direct Action Training will be at 8 am in DC. Location to be announced after registration. Details for Aug. 2 TBA.
2) Be fully vaccinated and follow Covid-19 protocol, which is-- stay home and let us know you cannot come if you are feeling sick; wear a face mask at all times unless drinking/eating.
Generally, the commitment for all volunteer roles day-of will be from morning until afternoon. We are looking for folks who, generally, live in the DMV area or close enough to transport yourself to the action in DC.
