We are halfway through the month and we have some work to do if we want to keep up the pace. As of right now, we need 28,359 more donations in order to hit our 40,000 online donation goal for July.

As we head into the summer, which is usually slower for fundraising, we have to continue growing the support for this campaign.

Mitch McConnell is hoping that our fundraising will slow down. And what we’re worried about is that it actually did at this point last summer, so we really have to make sure we keep up the pace.

Which is why we’re hoping that we can get 1,290 donations today - the number of donations we need every day this month to stay on track and hit our goal. So what do you say, friend?

If you’re able, will you make a $3 contribution to our people-powered campaign? The amount isn’t as important as the donation itself because it’s going to take a lot of people chipping in a few bucks at a time to help reach our goals and fight for change. >>> [link removed]

Making the decision to reject corporate PAC money was a big risk, but one that was important to us. Instead, we’re funding this campaign by harnessing the power of grassroots energy — and it’s paying off big!

So just know that every time you decide to chip in $3, $5, $10 or whatever you can afford, it allows us to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
