I am beyond thrilled to endorse Cheri Beasley to be the next U.S. Senator from North Carolina.

Cheri is a trailblazer who has spent her career serving the people of North Carolina. She was the first Black woman to serve as Chief Justice of North Carolina’s Supreme Court, and she would be the third Black woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate.

She’s proven herself in statewide elections before and is the only Democrat in this race to have ever won statewide. I know she is our best hope to flip North Carolina, but she needs all of us behind her too.
