While changes in routine can be challenging for parents of children
and teens on the spectrum, summer can be a perfect time to build on
the progress made during the school year and create fun memories that
will last a lifetime.

In this edition of E-Speaks, learn how one non-profit is creating a
world filled with kindness and acceptance through surfing and
interactive therapies; get an inside look into how one autism mom uses
the summer months to help her 11-year-old son continue on a path to
reaching his full potential while still having fun and get some pool
safety tips for children, parents and guardians from a trained
lifeguard.

Autism Speaks is proud to provide grant funding to increase Gnome Surf services so that even more children with autism can participate.
