Team Tomlinson showed up in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community yesterday for the Atlanta Pride Parade. I was so thrilled to see people young and old, of different races, sexual orientations, and gender identities, all show up to celebrate one another. It was inspiring to be there — you could feel the energy in the air.

This is a campaign built on a foundation of love — love for our sisters, brothers, and non-binary friends and neighbors in Georgia. It’s a message our country needs to hear right now, that no matter who you are or who you love, you can find acceptance.

Friend, solidarity with Georgia’s LGBTQ+ community does not begin and end in Atlanta. The message of this campaign is that no matter which of Georgia’s 159 counties you live in, you deserve love, respect, and safety no matter who you love or how you identify.

We are taking this message across Georgia. Showing love for people who identify as LGBTQ+ is personal to all of us, and those of you marching with us yesterday inspired me.
