I would love to have the chance to have a good meal and great conversation with you.

Okay, team, it’s true: I called Vedika’s family during our lunch.

But we also talked about our favorite movies, TV shows, and so much more. I’m glad Vedika had as much fun as I did. It's moments like these that keep me inspired and motivated during long days on the campaign trail.

I would love to have the chance to have a good meal and great conversation with you, too.

Let’s nerd out, together,

---FORWARDED MESSAGE---

Hey team,

I’m Vedika! You haven’t heard from me yet, but I work on the Cory 2020 analytics team. A few months ago, I won our staff fundraising challenge and as the winner, I had the chance to grab lunch with Cory here in Newark.

If you enter our contest right now, you can have the chance to enjoy a meal with him, too! Chip in here to be automatically entered.

At first, Cory asked me about my background and where I went to school. But this was my shot to spend an hour with Cory Booker, and I wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to ask him the hard-hitting questions the people deserve to know. I wanted to talk about our favorite movies and TV shows -- and he couldn’t have been more excited to indulge me in that.

During our lunch, we covered everything -- from who his favorite Supernatural character is, to how much he enjoyed Avengers: Endgame, to how we both cried when we watched the movie Love, Simon -- It. Was. Amazing.

We even shared the same take that Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the greatest shows of all time. But my favorite moment? Cory took my phone and called my mom.

You’re missing out if you don’t at least try to have the same amazing experience that I did. It’s easy to automatically enter the contest. You can do so right here!

It was so awesome and an experience I’ll never forget. Of course, Cory is this genius and can talk about politics like no other. But what makes a meal with him really special is that he's just a genuinely fun, down-to-earth guy.

It’s not every day that you can geek out with our next president.

Good luck!
Vedika

PS -- I wasn’t kidding about Cory calling my mom!
